American Red Cross Blood Drive at JCC Apr. 15

Fulfill your civic duty in a matter of pints! The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at Jefferson Community College (JCC) on Thursday, April 15 in the McVean Center Gymnasium from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event is sponsored by JCC student government and is open to the public.

The American Red Cross Blood Services reports that a 5–7 day supply of blood is essential to meet routine hospital needs and to be prepared for emergencies. All blood types are needed, especially O negative.

Appointments are recommended, but not required. Contributors should bring identification and allow 45–60 minutes to complete the donor form, give blood, and rest with a refreshment.

To schedule an appointment or for more information, call the JCC student activities center at 315-786-2431 or stop in room 4-100 in the McVean Student Center.
