Come Enjoy Local Talent - Jefferson Singers Voice Recital Mar. 23

The Jefferson Community College choir, the Jefferson Singers, will present a spring voice recital, American Popular Song, on Tuesday, March 23 at 7:00 p.m. in Sturtz Theater, McVean Student Center.

The Jefferson Singers will enthrall the audience with an assortment of solo and small ensemble vocal literature from the 1930s to present. The choir is under the direction of associate professor and accompanist, Dr. Lisa M. Scrivani-Tidd. Jason D. Comet, of Watertown, will assist as piano accompanist for some student performances.

The Jefferson Singers is a credit-bearing humanities music course at JCC. It is a mixed chorus comprised of students from all majors on campus; advanced music students pursuing a career in music perform alongside non-music majors who enjoy singing and performing. The course is open to all students on campus, and the ensemble regularly performs on and off campus in the local community.

Admission is free and the public is invited to attend. For more information, call the liberal arts division at JCC, 315-786-2414 or 315-786-2328.
