Interested in Becoming a Registered Nurse? Learn How Mar. 23
If you are interested in becoming a registered nurse, look no further than Jefferson Community College (JCC). Graduates of Jefferson’s associate of applied science (A.A.S.) program, once they pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN), will become registered nurses. Jefferson’s nursing program is offered in two formats—a traditional program with classes offered during the week and in a new weekend format during which courses meet every other weekend on Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday. Both programs take two years to complete.
The next weekday program begins in August and the weekend program starts next in January of 2011.
Prospective students can learn more about each program, nursing program admission requirements, the application (PDF) process and financial aid by attending JCC’s Nursing Information Session to be held at Jefferson Community College on Tuesday, March 23 at 4:00 p.m. in Room 6-218, Jules Center.
To register for the session or for more information, call JCC’s admissions office at 315-786-2277.
