Canadian Rockers Theory of a Deadman Slated for April Concert at JCC

Theory of a Deadman has added Jefferson Community College to the band’s spring tour schedule with a concert in the McVean Center Gymnasium on Saturday, April 17, 2010. North Country favorite Lake Effect Mud will open for Theory of a Deadman.

Theory of a Deadman is kicking off 2010 with a full schedule of U.S. tour dates and a special performance at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The band will spend March and April touring Europe before returning for more U.S. dates including the April concert at JCC.

The hard-rocking trio from Vancouver has released three albums since 2002, including the most recent, Scars & Souvenirs, in 2008. In October of 2009, the band released a special edition of Scars & Souvenirs featuring acoustic and unreleased tracks, the band’s entire video catalog, and numerous making-of and behind-the-scenes videos shot while producing the album.

Concert tickets will go on sale for JCC students on Friday, February 19 at 12:00 p.m. The general public will be able to purchase tickets beginning Friday, February 26. All seating is general admission and tickets cost $30. JCC students presenting SUNY ID may buy tickets at a reduced price of $20.
