Steps to Register for Credit Bearing Courses at Jefferson Community College

(no lapse in my enrollment). Make an appointment with your assigned
academic advisor or the Advising Center during college recesses at
315-786-2478.

- NEW and TRANSFER STUDENTS: I have not attended college previously or I have attended another institution.
- RETURNING STUDENTS: I have previously attended Jefferson Community College. There has been a lapse in my attendance.
- MILITARY STUDENTS: All students who receive Military Tuition Assistance (TA) through the Military or are part of the eArmyU program MUST register through the goArmyEd/eArmyU portal. Once at the portal, follow the instructions for applying to the College and enrolling in courses.
For New and Transfer Students pursuing a degree at JCC:
- Students must complete the admissions process prior to registration. * Please note that students transferring to Jefferson Community College are advised to submit official transcripts from your previous institution(s) prior to registration at Jefferson Community College.
- Contact the JCC Advising Center at 315-786-2478 to schedule an advisement/registration appointment.
For New and Transfer Students NOT seeking a degree at JCC:

- Download the following forms. (This requires Adobe Acrobat Reader.). Complete and fax or mail the forms to the Advising Center, 315-786-2471
- Registration Form.
- The proper Certificate of Residence Form (I am a Jefferson County Resident or I live outside Jefferson County ) . Note: If you are not a resident of New York State, do not complete the Certificate of Residence Form.
- Payment Authorization Form.
- If you have applied for an online course, go to the SUNY Learning Network Student Gateway ( http://sln.suny.edu/sln_studentlogin.htm) and follow the on-screen instructions to test your computer, request your password and begin the Student Orientation.
If you have not attended Jefferson Community College in more than 6 years, please contact the Admissions Office for application procedures.
If less than 6 years since your last attendance to Jefferson Community College, please contact the JCC Advising Center for information at 315-786-2478.
