Advising, Career, and Counseling Center (ACCC)
Advising and Registration Services
New Students
After completing requirements for admission to the College, new students
will attend an advising session with an academic advisor in the Advising,
Career, and Counseling Center. During this session, the advisor will
discuss educational and career goals, review degree requirements, academic
policies and support services provided by the College and assist the
student with course selection and registration.
Current Students
After their initial advising session, students will be assigned a permanent
advisor, typically a faculty member who is familiar with their program
of study. Current students should meet regularly with their assigned
academic advisor who will continue to assist them with course selection
as well as academic and career planning.
Non-Matriculated Students
The Advising, Career, and Counseling Center staff also provides advising
and registration assistance for all non-matriculated (not enrolled
in a degree program) students.
Services:
- New Student Advisement and Course Registration
- Non-matriculated Student Course Registration
- Schedule Adjustments
- Change of Majors
- Degree Audits
- Evaluation of Transfer Credit
