Computer Network Technician

A computer network technician, for example, helps install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system. They also assist in the maintenance of network hardware and software, and monitor a network to ensure network availability to all system users.

Jefferson Community College can help link you to a career in computer network technology through its Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Technology.  This degree provides students with skills and knowledge that match the needs of local employers for technology generalists who have a broad background and the ability to solve problems with a wide variety of technology tools.
