Program Overview
The Drone Operator Training will to give you the skills required to pilot drones and access emerging job opportunities. Gain advanced insight into the business and employment opportunities created by drones. Learn about resources pertaining to industry specific application drone technology, as well as the other required skills, beyond Remote Pilot Certification, that are necessary to obtain jobs in the various industries. Learn context of the different types of drones (make/model/use) and explore tie-in business development components for those who seek entrepreneurial navigation within the drone industry. Participants will have hands-on experience with drone flight controls and flight time with DJI Phantom 4 and DJI Mavic 3, along with the MOCVOO Drone which participants will take home and keep upon program completion. Learners are prepared to sit for the FAA Part 107 Exam upon completion of the program.
Intro to sUAS/Learn to Fly Course
This 33-hour course includes an introduction to sUAS and prepares students to take
the FAA Part 107 Exam. Students will learn what it takes to fly safely and legally
as business and hobby pilots; understand the job market and business models along
with how to purchase and get the most out of their drones.

sUAS Rating Privileges, Limitations, & Flight Operations; sUAS Airspace Classification,
Operating Requirements, & Flight Restrictions; Aviation Weather Sources & Weather
Effects on sUAS; sUAS Loading & Performance; Emergency Procedures; Crew Resource
Management; Radio Communication Procedures; Determining the Performance of sUAS; Physiological
Effects of Drugs & Alcohol; Aeronautical Decision-Making & Judgment; Airport Operations;
Maintenance and Preflight Inspection Procedures industry applications; technologies;
and the latest FAA policies to legally operate a drone.
