Notary Signing Agent signing document with client

A signing agent is a professional who handles and oversees the signing of important legal documents, particularly in real estate transactions. They receive mortgage papers electronically or physically, then print, assemble, and securely transfer these loan packages. Signing agents travel to various locations to conduct FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, and reverse mortgage loan closings. They present and notarize documents such as mortgages, promissory notes, and HUD settlement statements. They also collaborate with title companies, mortgage brokers, banks, and other signing services to ensure accurate processing of all paperwork. Signing agents notarize signatures for medical records, legal documents, wills, and annuities in accordance with state laws. They manage all business operations, network with financial institutions, and maintain communication with bank lenders throughout the loan process.
