This year marks the 50th reunion of the Jefferson Community College Class of 1968 and the 25th reunion of the Class of 1993. Along with the Class of 1968 and Class of 1993, alumni of the College's Criminal Justice Program will be honored during Cannon Blast Weekend to be held September 21-23, 2018. Jefferson has over 22,000 alumni!

Cannon Blast Weekend will kick-off on Friday, September 21 at 5:30 p.m. with the Distinguished Alumni Awards and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony to be held at the Watertown Elks Lodge, Bradley Street.

On Saturday, September 22, alumni are invited to reunite on JCC’s campus in Watertown to meet College President Ty A. Stone and participate in affinity-related activities, tour campus, attend a brunch with present and retired College faculty, and spectate/participate in alumni athletic games. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. in the Jules Center Commons (Building 6).

Highlights of Cannon Blast Weekend include dedication of the College’s nursing laboratory to Roberta (Bobbi) Lynn Brabant, late wife of JCC alumnus Joseph G. Brabant at 10:30 a.m. on September 22. Originally, of Potsdam, Mrs. Brabant dedicated much of her life to serving children and their families in the North Country. She earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in social work from Oswego State University and Syracuse University. Mrs. Brabant worked for the New York State Office of Mental Health and proudly served as the co-director of the Outward Bound program. In addition, she worked with children, families and geriatric patients through her private practice in Watertown, NY. In 1994, she moved to Roanoke, VA, to continue her life’s work at Fresenius Dialysis Center. After a courageous battle with cancer, she died in 2015.

Additionally, on September 22 at 1:00 p.m., there will be a paver installation and dedication honoring the Class of 1968, Class of 1993, criminal justice alumni, and friends of the College which will take place at the Haas Clock Tower located at the center of campus.
