Jefferson Community College (JCC) offers students the opportunity to reduce both the time and cost required to complete a degree through prior learning credit. Students with professional or military experience may receive credit toward degree completion through Jefferson's Prior Learning Assessment (PLA). Full-semester and early session (8-week) classes begin January 20, 2026. Registration is ongoing!

Instant Admit Week runs December 8-12, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday. During this event, students planning to start college in the winter session or spring semester can apply for admission, receive an on-the-spot admission decision, and learn their next steps in the enrollment process.

Jefferson Community College (JCC) will present Yamatai, a dynamic Japanese drumming ensemble from Cornell University, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in Sturtz Theater. Admission is free and the public is welcome. The JCC food closet welcomes donations of non-perishable food and hygiene items.
