Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are encouraged to earn their DSP I and DSP II microcredentials at Jefferson Community College (JCC) at no cost while grant funding remains available. Designed with working professionals in mind, Jefferson's part-time microcredential programs offer flexible course formats. Fall classes begin August 24, 2026.

Jefferson Community College (JCC) held its Annual Recognition Celebration on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. The College observed four faculty and staff retirees and honored the achievements of faculty and staff including: SUNY Chancellor's Award recipients, those reaching milestone years of service to the College, continuing appointments, and promotions. Additionally, the 2026 Spirit of Jefferson Award recipient was announced.

The unveiling of Volume XXXVI (36) of the Jefferson Community College Black River Review (BRR), a journal of poetry, prose, and fine arts took place in May 2026. The event was a celebration of the unique writing and artistic talents of Jefferson students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Jefferson Community College will host an Advising and Financial Aid Completion Day on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. to help accepted students complete the final steps needed to enroll for the fall 2026 semester, which begins August 24, 2026. Space is limited and registration is required.

Jefferson Community College (JCC) has named the following students to the 2026 spring semester President's and Dean's Lists. The students named to the President's List earned a grade point average of 3.75 to 4.0 out of a possible 4.0. The students named to the Dean's List earned a grade point average of 3.50 to 3.74 out of a possible 4.0.

Jefferson Community College (JCC) is pleased to announce the launch of a Business Analytics Associate of Science (A.S.) program designed to prepare students to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decision-making. This program combines foundational business knowledge with practical data analysis skills, equipping graduates for entry-level roles or transfer to a four-year institution.
