Jefferson Community College (JCC) will host a SUNY Reconnect Information Session on Tuesday, July 22, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., highlighting tuition-free degree opportunities for eligible adults ages 25-55, including the College's new Health Sciences Associate in Science (A.S.) degree program. The session is designed for adults interested in returning to college and exploring careers in healthcare, nursing, education, technology, and engineering.

The Center for Community Studies at Jefferson Community College (JCC) completed a first-of-its-kind study on North Country residents' health and healthcare experiences, with special emphasis on women's health and the impacts of adverse childhood experiences. The Center partnered with faculty of Gender and Women's Studies at SUNY Plattsburgh, to design and complete the study of adults in Jefferson, St. Lawrence, Franklin, Essex, and Clinton counties. In the study, a total of 2,991 adult residents were surveyed from the five-county region between February 3-14, 2026.

The Center for Community Studies (CCS) at Jefferson Community College completed its annual North Country Current Issues Survey. In the study, a total of 2,562 adult residents were surveyed from the four-county region - Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence, and Oswego Counties between March 31 and April 11, 2026.
