Jefferson Community College (JCC) will host information sessions for select academic programs throughout March 2026. Prospective students are invited to attend either in person or virtually via Zoom. During each session, faculty from the respective programs will be available to answer questions about coursework, career opportunities, transfer options, and more. Some featured programs are SUNY Reconnect approved and may be tuition-free for eligible students.

Through a strategic partnership with the Syracuse Veterans Affairs (VA) Office, Jefferson Community College (JCC) is expanding support for Veteran students by bringing the nationally recognized Veterans Integration to Academic Leadership (VITAL) Program to campus. VITAL is designed to connect Veterans with world-class VA health care while supporting their successful transition and integration into college and university life. On average, 42% of Jefferson's student body is comprised of veterans, service members, family members, and retirees.

Jefferson Community College (JCC) is accepting submissions from alumni, Jefferson students (full and part-time), faculty and staff for the 2026 edition of the Black River Review. The Black River Review is a journal of poetry, prose and fine arts. The deadline for Volume XXXVI is February 13, 2026. Cash awards for outstanding work will be awarded.
