  • The Jefferson Community College (JCC) Athletics program presented $4,000 to the American Cancer Society, with funds raised through its annual Coaches vs. Cancer Holiday Shootout held in December. The event brings together regional high school basketball teams, student-athletes, and the community to support cancer research, the Clinton Clark Memorial Scholarship through the Jefferson Foundation, and JCC basketball programs.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) student, Ben Ramer of Watertown, has been selected for the 2026 National Student Voting Honor Roll as a leader in nonpartisan campus civic engagement. Ramer, one of 168 students selected across the country, is being recognized by the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge (ALL IN) for his contributions to creating a more civically engaged culture within his campus community.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC), in partnership with The CDL Schools, will launch its next 5-week CDL Class A training program on May 18, 2026. Classes will be held on JCC's campus Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The registration deadline is May 8, 2026.
