Anthony Celar Named JCC Athlete of the Week

Sophomore outfielder, Anthony Celar, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) baseball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending March 30, 2025.
Celar, a 2022 graduate of St. Jean De Brebeuf CHS, Ontario, Canada, is majoring in Sports Management at Jefferson. Anthony was outstanding at the plate during the Cannoneers' four-game week, batting .538 with 5 RBI and 2 doubles. He came through in clutch moments, hitting .571 with runners in scoring position and posting an outstanding 1.264 OPS. Anthony is consistently one of the best hitters, doing so from the three--spot in the lineup.
