Anton Wiegand Named Athlete of the Week

Freshman forward, Anton Wiegand, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) men’s soccer team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending September 17, 2023. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions.
Anton, Berlin, Germany, a 2023 graduate of Evangelische Schule Berlin Zentrum, is majoring in Humanities and Social Sciences at Jefferson. Anton continues to impress for the Cannoneers as their leading scorer with 5 goals. His fine goal scoring form this season has led him to a “Player of the Match” performance, scoring against Finger Lakes Community College, and scoring the lone goal against Mohawk Valley Community College. He will be looking to add to that tally this weekend against Onondaga Community College.
