Jadyn R. Childers Named Athlete of the Week

Sophomore catcher, Jadyn R. Childers, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) softball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending April 15, 2023. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Balanced Nutrition.
Jadyn, a 2021 graduate of Carthage High School, is majoring in Humanities and Social Sciences at Jefferson. Over the past week, spanning 8 games, Childers’ accomplishments at the plate, and on the field, include batting a .375 with a 3 homerun game, tallying 10 RBIs, and 11 on the week. She had an on base percentage of .483, scored 11 runs on her own, and executed two outs when opponents attempted to make a steal. Jadyn accounted for 45% of the teams runs this week between RBIs and runs.
