The State University of New York (SUNY) Chancellor John B. King Jr. visited Jefferson Community College (JCC) as part of his SUNY Reconnect Tour and heard from Jefferson students, toured Jefferson's mechatronics labs, and talked with students about their experiences and talked with faculty.

The Center for Community Studies at Jefferson Community College (JCC) completed a public opinion and behavior survey research study of childcare issues in the region. The opinions, choices, costs, importances, needs, satisfactions, preferences, and employment and economic impacts upon these groups have been studied and analyzed. Jefferson Community College (JCC) held its annual Pinning Ceremony for graduates of the College's nursing program on May 14, 20265, in the McVean Student Center Gymnasium. Fifty-four (54) candidates for the Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in nursing were eligible to take part in this special program.
