  • Jefferson Community College held its 61st Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 16, 2025, in the McVean Student Center Gymnasium. JCC's Class of 2025 is comprised of 345 students who are December 2024 graduates and May 2025 and August 2025 candidates for graduation. Among the graduates were 113 first-generation college students - those whose parents nor guardians hold a bachelor's degree.

  • Jefferson Community College will hold its sixty-first Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 16, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the McVean Student Center Gymnasium. 360 degrees and certificates will be awarded to 346 students. Below is a list of graduates as of May 15, 2025. Those with (#) following their names will be receiving more than one diploma.

  • On Thursday, May 8, 2025 Jefferson Community College (JCC) honored students, faculty and staff at the College's Annual Awards Ceremony

  • Forty-four Jefferson Community College students have joined the College's Tau Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, the official international honor society for two-year colleges. JCC recognized the new inductees during its annual PTK induction ceremony on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

  • Jefferson Community College criminal justice student, Martin P. Daniels, Parish, received a $500 scholarship from the New York State Sheriffs' Association, presented by Jefferson County Sheriff Peter R. Barnett. The merit-based award is bestowed to a student enrolled full-time at a community college who is majoring in criminal justice, police science or equivalent and expresses an intent to pursue a career in the criminal justice field.
