On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, Jefferson Community College (JCC) will host a public presentation titled Ticks and Tick-borne Disease: Preventing Lyme and other Tick-borne Disease by Watertown native and Professor of Microbiology at the University of Massachusetts, Dr. Stephen M. Rich, at 6:00 p.m. in Room 2-107, Guthrie Building. The community is invited to attend.

Freshman golfer, Andrew L. Estal, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) golf team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending April 28, 2019. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.

Students Inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Jefferson Community College recognized 67 of its best and brightest students at its 50th annual induction ceremony of the Tau Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) on Friday, April 19, 2019. Phi Theta Kappa is the official international honor society for community colleges.
