  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) will screen the movie Platoon on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in Sturtz Theater followed by a panel discussion. Panelists include veterans of the Vietnam War. Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend.

  • Madison A. Neukirch Named Athlete of the Week

    Freshman runner, Madison A. Neukirch, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) women's cross country team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending October 21, 2019. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.

  • On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, the Center for Community Studies at Jefferson Community College (JCC) was granted membership into the Transparency Initiative of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR). The Center for Community Studies is the only SUNY college or university and the only U.S. two-year college in this select AAPOR group.

  • Craft fair enthusiasts won't want to miss this opportunity to peruse a myriad of homemade items at the Jefferson Community College Women's Organization 34th annual craft fair on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the McVean Student Center, Building 4. Entrance to the craft fair is through the gymnasium lobby, adjacent to Parking Lot D.

  • Current and prospective Jefferson Community College (JCC) students can now get on-demand answers from an artificially intelligent texting chatbot named "Jeffie". Jeffie will support prospective students throughout their admission process by providing information they need twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Administrators at JCC partnered with AdmitHub, an AI chatbot service, to develop the tool.

    The Jefferson Community College (JCC) English Department is hosting a writing workshop series titled Brown Bag Scribes every Friday from 12:20 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in Jules Center, Room 6-110, through December 6, 2019. Individuals just beginning to explore writing as a new vocation and published authors alike are welcome to attend. There is no cost.
