  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) is pleased to announce that five members of the College's faculty and staff were honored as recipients of the 2021 State University of New York (SUNY) Chancellor's Awards for Excellence. The Chancellor's Awards recognize extraordinary achievement and encourage the continuation of excellence.

  • A combined 2020-2021 Jefferson Community College Annual Recognition Ceremony was held on Friday, May 7, 2021 virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic. The College observed the retirement of twenty faculty and staff, three newly appointed emeritus, honored those for milestone years of service to the College, continuing appointments and promotions.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) live-streamed its annual Pinning Ceremony for graduates of the College's nursing program on May 26, 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Thirty-seven (37) candidates for the Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in nursing were eligible to take part in this special program.

  • Open house at Jefferson Community College this summer is June 8, June 10, July 12 and July 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Open house sessions will be held in-person on JCC's campus in Watertown following SUNY and CDC Covid-19 guidelines. Register online to attend.

  • A new class of students at Jefferson Community College have joined the ranks of the College's Tau Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society during spring 2021 semester. Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is the official international honor society for 2-year colleges.

  • Jefferson Community College held its 57th annual spring commencement ceremony virtually on Friday, May 21, 2021 for a second consecutive year due to the coronavirus pandemic, and DiplomaPalooza! on Saturday, May 22, 2021. JCC alumni now total over 24,000.

  • Jefferson Community College registration is open for fall 2021 semester classes beginning August 30, 2021. Classes will be held on JCC's campus in Watertown, at the Fort Drum Education Center and Lewis County Education Center in Lowville as well as online in a variety of formats. Creating a flexible class schedule has never been easier!
